- Location Data (Background & Foreground): We collect precise real-time geographic location coordinates (GPS coordinates) of your device.
- Device Information: We log battery percentage, network connectivity type (e.g. WiFi, Mobile data), and device model to ensure secure sync operations and verify device compliance.
- User Profiles: Account registration data including your name, corporate email address, employee ID, department allocation, manager name, and profile avatar.

PrimeShield Attendance collects precise location coordinates to verify geofence boundaries for smart check-ins and to record continuous shift routes for surveyors, sales representatives, and other field workforce personnel.
Background Location access is required. The App collects this location data even when the App is closed, minimized, or when your phone screen is locked. Location tracking is active ONLY during your active working hours (the time elapsed between your manual Check-In and Check-Out).
Tracking stops completely when you perform a manual Check-Out at the end of your shift.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to power the App's core services, including:
- Geofence Verification: Auditing check-in coordinates against your designated office geofence borders.
- Active Shift Routing: Constructing the timeline route history of field visits to verify visit locations.
- Compliance Auditing: Reviewing early departures, late check-ins, stationary alerts, or duplicate check-in sessions.
- Push Notifications: Delivering shift schedule updates and leave approvals directly to your device.
4. Data Sharing & Security
Your privacy is paramount. We do not sell or lease your data to third parties. Information sharing is restricted as follows:
- Internal Management Visibility: Your attendance logs, shift tracking, and leave requests are visible only to you and your designated company managers or system administrators.
- Firestore Backend: Data is securely transmitted and stored using Cloud Firestore database architecture, backed by robust security access rules ensuring only authenticated corporate sessions can read/write data.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You retain full control over your profile and permissions. You have the right to:
- Manage Location Permissions: Revoke foreground or background location permissions at any time through your device system settings. Note that disabling location will prevent geofenced check-ins and trigger an automated checkout safety alert.
- Request Deletion: Ask your company administrator or write to us to request complete deletion of your profile history and historical attendance logs.
